The Organization provides assistance to victims of crime, trauma and tragic circumstance, either at the scene of an incident or at a later date, via telephone or in person.  Volunteers providing this service are trained to meet Ministry standards, and are available to assist at the request of police and emergency services on an on-call basis.  Volunteer teams are scheduled to be available at all times, including weekends and holidays. 

• 24 hour telephone crisis support available across the Region to referred, consenting victims.
• Immediate response to the scene, hospital, business, residence, school or Police division at the request of an emergency service  provider.
• Referrals to community resources.
• Personal safety plans and additional information, personal safety needs.
• Information on applications for Criminal Injuries Compensation to assist in unplanned expenses.
